It’s February again.\u00a0 The month of Love & Chocolate and the Uplands Wine Trial’s Chocolate Lovers Weekends.\u00a0 Grab your sweetheart (or not) and indulge your sweet tooth.\u00a0 On February 6th, 7th (yes, even on Su\"P2080230\"<\/a>per Bowl Sunday – but hey, the game doesn’t start until 6:30pm), 13th & 14th, Best Vineyards will be offering up some scrumptious desserts.\u00a0 There will be decadent Red Velvet Brownies with a Cream Cheese Icing, divine German Chocolate Brownies with Coconut-Pecan Frosting, tantalizing Smore’s Dessert Pizza toasted to perfection, petite\u00a0Pound Cake Cupcakes with a wine reduction (in lieu of frosting), and the ever-popular (and\u00a0addictive)\u00a0Candied Orange Peel dipped in a\u00a0luscious\u00a0Dark Chocolate.\u00a0\u00a0This year we’ll have a small amount of Candied Orange Peels for sale in the tasting room.\u00a0 Complete recipes can be found on the back of your tasting sheet at the winery or on our recipe tab shown above.\u00a0\u00a0Start your journey on the Uplands\u00a0Wine Trail this weekend and enjoy the Chocolate\u00a0Extravaganza.<\/p>\n

February 6th\u00a0is also the opening weekend\u00a0for 2 contests we will\"T-shirt<\/a> be having.\u00a0 The first is our bi-annual T-shirt contest.\u00a0 Click HERE<\/a> for a downloadable version of our entry form.\u00a0 Entries must be received by\u00a0close of business on April 7th.\u00a0 The winning entry will receive a $75 cash prize*, 2 free\u00a0T-shirts and their photo on our website and facebook page.\u00a0 (See official form for more details on cash prize.)\u00a0 Contest is open to all ages.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0second contest\u00a0is called “CORKED” will be held in conjunction with\u00a0Butler Winery and Brown County Winery.\u00a0 While the three wineries are still working out the details, we are looking for your BEST CORK SCULPTURES.\u00a0 Each sculpture must contain at least one cork from a winery on the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail.\u00a0 See the winery for more details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
