Please join us at the 28th Ferdinand Christkindlmkt Saturday November 15th and Sunday 16th.

In Germany, Christmas wares and gifts are sold in the festival-style setting of Christkindlmarkt. The custom began in the 14th century and continues today in the charming “Bavarian” village of Ferdinand, Indiana, the only town in the world named after Ferdinand I of Austria. The Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt, held the third full weekend in November annually, features over 200 lavishly decorated booths spilling over with quality hand-created items, antiques, art, Christmas wares, delicious regional food and wine, live entertainment, a free concert, free tours and so much more.

We will be located at 1150 Main Street in the gazebo under the new Christmas pyramid in front of  the Wollenmann House. Our hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday the 15th and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 16th.

The Corydon Extravaganza is promoted and curated by Joe & Lindsey Poe, owners of the Old Town Store and Poe’s Vintage Goods. It was first started in 2013 as a traditional Antique Show. It has morphed over the years into so much more. We are now considered one of the best Vintage & Antique Flea Markets in Southern Indiana with a splash of Art Show, Food Trucks and Wineries. All of this wraps up to be an amazing shopping experience. So, grab a friend, family member, neighbor or coworker and come shop one of Indiana’s best festivals.

All events are rain or shine and mostly indoors.  All tickets are sold at the main gate day of the event – CASH ONLY!  13 years and under are free!  Parking is free!  Pets are welcome!
